Emily Nadine Yeo

Emily is a PhD student in the ECLIPSE lab. After moving to the US from South Africa, she recently completed her masters in the Biomolecular and Chemical Nutrition program at the Friedman School of Nutritional Science and Policy, at Tufts University. Her recent research has utilized bioinformatic tools to better understand how dietary carbohydrate consumption compositionally alters the gut microbiome. Her previous work has focused on adipocyte insulin signaling pathways and inflammation, in the Department of Biochemistry at the Stellenbosch University. Whenever possible, Emily loves travelling to new places, surfing and running.
